Heheh saw this comment on the yahoo news on China accumulating more rare earths and stifling the supply of such precious metals. Dang, China's getting so huge and fierce it's scary! Somehow I just don't like the sound of a China, possibly, controlling the world, even if it's in one area. :P

Oh today's sermon touched a bit on the verse I last posted on, though the focus wasn't really the same!

All the same, I will do my best to change for the better! (:

Prelims week 2 - here we go!

So I was reading Acts today and this verse struck me - hence leading me to this post (which is a good time-off from analyzing my chemistry anyway). Highlighting the verse and checking up on what others have typed in response to the highlighted verse, I saw one post which was titled 'Do the demons know your name?' - hence also the title of this post.

Sidetracking... I love how the Bible on the ipad is so convenient. I get to read about other peoples' responses to the selected verses I'm curious about/unsure of the context. This is just one of the many benefits of technology!

But anyway, so this verse - though in the playful context of what was happening in the preceding verses - is actually quite serious. How many of us can actually say with certainty that because of who I am, even the demons know who I am!

I am also reminded of Matthew 7:21-23:

Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of my Father who is in heaven... Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!


Right now, I doubt the demons know my name.

Nevertheless, I shall continue to work towards the Lord knowing my name - cause anyway once He knows - logically speaking - they should know too right? :)

But I guess every country needs to be saved, as much as any country needs! I never really paid attention to this song whenever my ipod plays this song and I usually skip it because it gets repetitive and anyway, I'm not Australian! But somehow I had the feeling of listening to this song this afternoon and felt myself singing along to 'save Australia' :P I particularly like the end part where everyone got together in groups and just sang along. So nice to see (:

Anyway, I don't know why I've been spamming youtube videos. Usually it's to make up for the lack of posts/words. But sometimes it's to share good music around, hahaha.
