Luwin shared today and he talked a bit about how the Bible is so full of people we shouldn't follow, people who aren't good role models at all. In fact, the only person we should follow is Jesus Christ, Himself.

But hey, guess what there were a number of people who were pretty blameless and whose wrongdoings weren't recorded in the Bible!

Joseph:
A favourite son of his dad, was put on royal (King Lear! :P) and nice robes, resented and envied by his brothers, thrown into a pit, rose up to be second to none, except to Pharaoh himself, in Egypt, and saved so many people (think it was the whole of Israel)!

Daniel:
Not well-liked by the people around him.

And what struck me, and was a new thing to me, was that these people were actually foreshadowings of Christ eh!

Jesus:
Favourite (and only lol) son of God, came down to earth, wasn't well-liked by the people, crucified and hanged on the cross, rose up on the third day, and is second to none, except God his Father, saved those who believed in him and is interceding for us!


Mindblown.
